Technobind is seeking a skilled and experienced Application Security Pre-Sales Consultant to drive the success of its CyberRes Application Security offerings. This professional will play a critical role in the pre-sales phase, ensuring that customer needs are thoroughly understood and met with the right technical solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with prospects, customers, and partners to present and demonstrate application security solutions, primarily Micro Focus CyberRes Fortify.
Collaborate with the sales team to assess and understand customer business and technical needs.
Identify opportunities for lead generation and business expansion.
Determine constraints, challenges, and technical requirements at both corporate and site-specific levels.
Assist in solution design and suggest steps required to meet customer demands.
Identify potential areas of concern that could affect the solution's success, including competition and product-specific requirements.
Conduct detailed product presentations and technical sessions for customers, prospects, and partners.
Showcase Micro Focus CyberRes Fortify through live demonstrations, highlighting its capabilities and addressing specific security challenges.
Lead successful Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed solution in a real-world scenario.
Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Provide regular updates on product releases, new features, and technical developments.
Serve as a technical expert and sparring partner for the sales team and management, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
Support the account team by preparing tailored solution proposals, presentations, and technical documents.
Provide expert analysis and guidance for deals in the pipeline.
Transition smoothly from pre-sales to post-sales by ensuring proper orientation of the implementation teams.
Education: University degree in Computer Science or related field.
Hands-on experience with application development in Java, MS.Net, JavaScript, PHP, or Python.
Strong understanding of application security and information security principles.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with networking fundamentals, databases, and container-based deployment technologies.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate the value of the solution to customers.
Ability to design and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate product effectiveness.
Eagerness to continuously learn and master Micro Focus CyberRes Fortify solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to establish rapport and build long-term relationships with customers and partners.
Proactive in identifying opportunities, challenges, and areas for improvement in customer environments.
Adept at working independently as well as in cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
