Job Overview

As a JAMF Pre-Sales Specialist, your primary responsibility is to provide in-depth technical expertise and support to the sales team, enabling them to effectively promote and sell JAMF's suite of solutions to enterprise clients. You will work closely with sales representatives and potential customers to understand their unique business needs and demonstrate how JAMF's mobile device management (MDM) solutions can fulfill their requirements. This role requires a strong technical background, a deep understanding of JAMF’s product offerings, and excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate the value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

Acquire an in-depth understanding of the full range of JAMF's products and services, including key features, functionalities, and deployment options.
Stay updated on JAMF's latest technological advancements, new product releases, and industry trends.
Leverage this expertise to provide accurate and insightful technical guidance during client interactions.

Sales Collaboration & Support:

Partner closely with the sales team to qualify prospects, understand client-specific challenges, and define their technical requirements.
Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, offering solutions that align with client objectives.
Participate in client meetings to answer technical questions, clarify doubts, and provide insights that support the sales strategy.

Product Demonstrations:

Develop and deliver highly tailored product demonstrations that showcase how JAMF’s solutions can address clients' pain points.
Highlight key functionalities such as mobile device management (MDM), Apple device ecosystem integration, and security features.
Ensure that demonstrations are interactive, engaging, and focused on providing practical solutions to the client’s business challenges.

Solution Design:

Collaborate with potential clients to gain a thorough understanding of their current IT infrastructure, business goals, and challenges.
Develop customized solutions using JAMF products that align with the client's specific environment, ensuring optimal integration with existing systems.
Provide technical design documentation that outlines the architecture and implementation strategy of the proposed solution.

Proposal Development:

Assist in the creation of technical proposals, RFPs (Request for Proposals), and other supporting documents.
Ensure that each proposal clearly articulates the benefits of JAMF solutions and demonstrates how they meet the client's business needs.
Provide detailed breakdowns of implementation processes, timelines, and technical support services.

Technical Consultation:

Act as a strategic consultant to clients, offering guidance on best practices for implementing and optimizing JAMF products within their IT environments.
Provide ongoing support during Proof of Concepts (POC), ensuring that the solution is deployed correctly and effectively addresses the client’s needs.
Identify opportunities for additional value creation through product customization, integration, or feature enhancement.

Training & Enablement :

Lead training sessions for both internal sales teams and external partners to improve their understanding of JAMF's product portfolio.
Equip the sales teams with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively communicate the technical and business value of JAMF products to customers.
Provide training on technical troubleshooting, deployment best practices, and configuration options.

Market Research & Feedback:

Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in the regulatory environment.
Collect feedback from clients and prospects to help shape product development and identify new market opportunities.
Work closely with product management teams to communicate customer insights that can enhance JAMF's product roadmap and overall competitive positioning.

Qualifications:

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Additional certifications related to mobile device management, Apple technologies, or other relevant technical areas are highly advantageous.

Experience:

Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, particularly within the software or IT solutions industry. Strong background in enterprise IT environments with a focus on networking, security, device management, and MDM solutions.
Previous experience working with Apple device ecosystems is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

Deep understanding of mobile device management (MDM) solutions, particularly in the context of Apple devices.
Hands-on experience with networking fundamentals, operating systems (e.g., macOS, iOS), and IT security principles.
Knowledge of JAMF’s product suite (e.g., JAMF Pro, JAMF Protect, JAMF Connect) and how it integrates with broader IT infrastructures.

Communication & Presentation Skills:

Exceptional ability to present complex technical concepts in a simple, relatable way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and team members.

Problem-Solving & Customer Focus:

A customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving abilities, capable of diagnosing and addressing complex technical challenges.
Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering outstanding client outcomes.

A commitment to continuous learning, with a passion for staying updated on the latest in IT security, device management, and JAMF technologies.
Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, technical presentations, and industry events.
